| You must first Download the Samples.zip
and Presets.zip folders
for this CD. Follow the instructions in the accompanying Readme
files. After Installation of the "Presets"... Open Photoshop. |

| Before you begin any of the Tutorials,
you will need to change the Styles and Contour
libraries. |
| |
| Changing
the Styles Library |
1.) Go to Window
> Styles. When the Styles palette appears,
click the triangle
at the top right corner and a pop-out menu will appear. Select KS
Styles. |

| 2.) A message box will
appear, just click OK and the correct library will load. |
| |
|
| |
This is the KS Styles
library that are used for the Tutorials.

| Changing
the Contour Library |
| 1.) Go to Layer
> Layer Style > Drop Shadow...
and the Layer Style palette will open. Click
the downward triangle next to the Contour window to open the Contour-Picker. |

2.) Click the triangle
at the top right corner and a pop-out menu will appear. Select KS
Contours. (This library has already been combined with Photoshop's
installed presets, to eliminate the need to Reload Contour libraries
during production.) |

| 3.) A message box will
appear, just click OK and the correct library will load. |

| 4.) With the New library
loaded, click the OK button to close the Layer Style palette. |

| You are now ready to proceed to the Tutorials.

| Note:
The same procedures listed above are used to swap libraries of other
categories such as Brushes, Swatches, Gradients, Styles, Patterns
and Custom Shapes. |

Reference Notes: |
| These Tutorials use the Character dialog
box in some cases to change the spacing of letters to text. Unless
specified, Character spacing will be set to 0. |

| To open the Character dialog box... go
to Window > Character. |

for CS2 Users- Photoshop CS2 requires the user to
Ctrl+Click the Thumbnail in the Layers palette
to create a Selection. |
