THE BRUSH PICKER

Opening the Brush-Picker
Once a Painting Tool is Selected, you can Right-Click on any Document and the Picker will Open the preset Library allowing you the opportunity to Select from various brushes. It can also be accessed from the Options bar or from within the Brushes palette.

Altering the Stroke
The Brush-Picker has two Controls to adjust the effects of the Stroke. The Master Diameter slider controls the Size of the brush Tip, while the Hardness slider regulates the amount of diffusing applied to the brush. Using the Hard Round 19 pixels brush in All examples below, much latitude can be achieved.

Create a New Preset Button
This allows the user to easily Create New brushes. The small Icon located Top Right of the palette allows you to Save any New brush Presets you may Create for yourself. (In this way you are certainly not limited only to what is available in any given library.)

Changing Brush Libraries
Changing Brush Libraries is done using the Picker. Simply click the blue arrow (Top Right corner) and a pop-out menu will appear. Make a Selection, a dialog box will appear giving you a few choices. (Just clicking OK will directly change the library.)

Other choices available from the Menu...

Dragging the Lower Right Corner of the Brush-Picker allows the user to Resize the palette. You can pull Horizontally as well as Vertically. (This allows you to View All brushes in any given set without the need to use the scroll bars to find what you are looking for.)

Closing the Brush Picker
Some of the Options available are to just start painting!, Pressing Enter on the keyboard or clicking the Blue bar Top of program will do the same thing.

Use Sample Size
Clicking this button will Revert any brush adjusted with the Master Diameter slider back to it's Original Preset state.
