GLOW TEXT ANIMATION

This Technique is Created using only Outer Glow Presets provided on the CD.

1.) Open ImageReady. Create a New file. Go to File > New. Make it 400 X 125 pixels on a Transparent Background, then click OK to Create. Now, press D on the keyboard to set Foreground Color to Black.

2.) Select the Type tool . Go to the Options bar and Select the font. I used BN Manson Nights 125 px Smooth. (You may have to manually input 125 px for size.) Next, click on the Color well to the Right to launch the Color-Picker.

Select a color or simply type in #CC0000 at the Bottom input box to select the color I used, then click OK to apply.

3.) Click on the work area and Type your Text. Select the Move tool to Commit. Drag Text to Center.

4.) Go to Layer Duplicate Layer. Repeat this 4 more times. Now, click the First "Copy" layer to Select.

5.) Next, go to Window > Styles. When the Styles palette appears, click the blue arrow (Top Right corner) and a pop-out menu will appear. Select TA Glows. A dialog box will appear, just click OK and the library will change. Select Green Glow 1.

6.) Now, go back to the Layers palette and Select the Next layer Up. Go to the Styles palette and Select Green Glow 2. Continue sequence until All "Copy" layers are completed ending with Green Glow 5. (You may then Close the Styles palette.)

7.) Go to the Animation palette and click the blue arrow (Top Right corner) and a pop-out menu will appear. Select Make Frames From layers.

All the Animation Frames will be generated. Now, click the 0 at the Bottom of Frame 1 and set Delay time to 1 Sec.

8.) In the Layers palette... click the Create a new layer button to Create a New blank layer. Now, press Alt+Backspace to Fill this layer with Black. Drag this layer to the Bottom in the palette.

All of the Frames will now display this new Background.

10.) Optimize and Save the file with File > Save Optimized As... Images Only (*.gif)
