| This Technique is Created using only
Outer Glow Presets provided on the CD. |

| |
| 1.) Open ImageReady.
Create a New file. Go to File > New.
Make it 400 X 125 pixels on a Transparent Background, then click
OK to Create. Now, press D on the keyboard to set Foreground Color
to Black. |

2.) Select the Type
tool .
Go to the Options bar and Select the font. I used BN
Manson Nights 125 px Smooth. (You may have to manually
input 125 px for size.) Next, click on the Color well to the Right
to launch the Color-Picker. |

| Select a color or simply type in #CC0000
at the Bottom input box to select the color I used, then click OK
to apply. |
| |

3.) Click on the work
area and Type your Text. Select the Move tool
to Commit. Drag Text to Center. |

| |
| 4.) Go to Layer Duplicate
Layer. Repeat this 4 more times. Now,
click the First "Copy" layer to Select. |

| |
5.) Next, go to Window
> Styles. When the Styles
palette appears, click the blue arrow
(Top Right corner) and a pop-out menu will appear. Select TA
Glows. A dialog box will appear, just click OK and the library
will change. Select Green Glow 1. |

| 6.) Now, go back to
the Layers palette and Select the Next layer Up.
Go to the Styles palette and Select Green
Glow 2. Continue sequence until All "Copy" layers
are completed ending with Green Glow 5.
(You may then Close the Styles palette.) |

7.) Go to the Animation
palette and click the blue arrow
(Top Right corner) and a pop-out menu will appear. Select Make
Frames From layers. |

| |
| All the Animation Frames
will be generated. Now, click the 0 at the Bottom of Frame
1 and set Delay time to 1 Sec. |

8.) In the Layers
palette... click the Create a new layer button
to Create a New blank layer. Now, press Alt+Backspace to Fill this
layer with Black. Drag this layer to the Bottom in the palette. |

| |
| All of the Frames will now display
this new Background. |
| |
|
| |
9.) Animation is now
ready to play by hitting the play button. (For
a more precise animation speed) click the Preview in Browser
button ,
to view in a browser. |

| 10.) Optimize
and Save the file with File > Save Optimized
As... Images Only (*.gif) |
