RESIZE TEXT ANIMATION

 

 
This Tutorial will show you how to make your Text Grow in Size.
 
 
1.) Open Photoshop and make a New file. Go to File > New. Make it 400 X 100 pixels on a Transparent Background at 72 dpi, then click OK to Create.
 

2.) Select the Horizontal Type tool . In the Options bar Select the font. I used Tahoma Regular 100 pt Sharp. (You may have to manually input 100 px for size.) Next, click on the Color well to the Right to launch the Color-Picker.

 
 
Select a color or simply type in #FF0000 at the Bottom input box to select the color I used, then click OK to apply.
 
 
3.) Click on the work area and Type your Text. Select the Move tool to Commit. Now, Drag Text to Center.
 
 
4.) Let's add a small amount of depth to Text. Go to Layer > Layer Style < Drop Shadow. The Layer Style palette will Open. This is the Default setting, just click OK to apply.

5.) Next, in the Layers palette... Drag this layer Down to the Create a new layer button to Duplicate layer. Repeat procedure 4 more times for a Total of 5 "Copy" layers.
 
 
6.) Now, click the First Type layer to Select.
 
 
7.) Use Ctrl+T to bring up the Free Transform bounding box.
 
 
Now, go to the Options bar and change Width and Height to 10%, then click the Commit button to apply.
 
 

8.) In the layers palette... click the Next layer Up to Select. Repeat Step 7, this time change Width and Height to 20%.Continue Selecting layers Upward and changing Width and Height larger each time at 40%, 60% and 80%.Do not change the Top layer.

 
 
9.) Now, click the First Type layer to Select. Next, Alt+Click the Eye icon to this layer to turn Off visibility to All other layers. (This sets up the First Frame of the Animation.)
 
 
We are now ready to move to ImageReady...
10.) Click on the Edit in ImageReady button . (Located at the bottom of the Tool palette.)
 
11.) Now, in the Animation palette, click on the arrow at the Top right corner and a pop-out will appear. Select Make Frames From Layers. All of the layers will be transformed to Frames automatically!
 
 
12.) Go to Frame 6 and click the 0 at the Bottom of the Frame to set Delay time. A pop-up will appear, set to 2 Sec.
 
 
13.) Animation is now ready to play by hitting the play button. (For a more precise animation speed) click the Preview in Browser button , to view in a browser.
 
14.) Optimize and Save the file with File > Save Optimized As... Images Only (*.gif)
