SWAP TEXT ANIMATION

In this Tutorial, I will show you how to swap out text with motion.

1.) Open Photoshop and create a New file. Go to New > File. Make it 400 X 100 pixels on a Transparent Background at 72 dpi, then click OK.

2.) Select the Horizontal Type tool . Go to the Options bar and Select the font. I used Viper Squadron Regular 100 px Sharp. (You may have to manually input 100 px for size.) Next, click on the Color well to the Right to launch the Color-Picker.

Select a color or simply type in #663300 at the Bottom input box to select the color I used, then click OK to apply.

3.) Click on the work area and type your Text. Select the Move tool to commit and Drag text to Center.

4.) In the Layers palette, Right-Click on this layer and a pop-out menu will appear. Select Rasterize Layer. Now, Drag this layer Down to the Create a new layer button to Duplicate layer.

5.) Next, go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Set angle to 0 degree's and distance to 25 pixels, then click OK to apply.

6.) At he Bottom of the Layers palette, click the Create a new layer button to generate a New blank layer. Now, repeat Steps 3 thru 4 with the next bit of text. Press Ctrl+F and the Motion Blur Filter will be applied once again.
The Layers palette should now look like this:

Click the Bottom layer to Select. Next, click the Eye icons to the Top 3 layers to turn Off their visibility.

We are now ready to move to ImageReady...
7.) Click on the Edit in ImageReady button . (Located at the bottom of the Tool palette.)

8.) In the Animation palette, click on the arrow at the top right corner and a pop-out menu will appear. Select Make Frames From Layers, and All of the layers will be converted to Frames. (If the Animation palette is not visible, go to Window > Animation.)
